Eight Songs for a Wheat Harvest is a short movie created in 2010 by Snohomish filmmaker Warner Blake,  documenting the vanishing family wheat farms of eastern Washington state, in a part of the state called the Inland Empire. The stories told by members of two families during harvest are structured in a format inspired by Ken Beshoof's Swing Low and by its performance by the Saint Helens String Quartet.
